Alright, I cannot tell the story of our amazing trip without this little surprise being added. Traveling to Rome from Florence (on a very nice bus, I should add), we knew we were heading wine tasting. What we didn't know until after our arrival at the stunning winery was that our Guide's family owned the winery and she was actually featured in the Rick Steves' DVD we watched before deciding to book our tour! Once we got home we re-watched the DVD to see our amazing Guide with Rick in her winery sharing her family's history!
